Happy Mother’s Day To All You Amazing Mothers!!! Yes… YOU!!!

Do you know how amazing you are? You ARE amazing! You are a Super Mom, Wonder Woman, Super Hero, Mother Nature, Mother Nurture and maker of everything awesome in your children’s lives. Nothing happens or flows or grows without you. Your loving gaze, gentle touch, encouraging words, comforting hugs and reassuring smile. Do you know how powerful you are? Do you know how much you mean to your munchkins? Please don’t ever underestimate your value! Today, on Mother’s Day, we at The Cove hope that you take a moment to give yourself a pat on the back. Take a moment to reflect on all the amazing accomplishment you have made since last Mother’s Day, and congratulate yourself for working so hard. 

IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY – The Cove Global website is 1 year old!

Cheers! Today, Mother’s Day 2022, is The Cove Global’s first birthday! We want to take a moment to share with you what has happened over the last year (and then some). It all began with a dream. It started as the dream of one single mom that there was a one-stop shop for anything and everything that she was looking for. It didn’t exist. So, like Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams… “if you build it, they will come”. And so, she did. Years of scribbly (sometimes illegible) notes, journal entries, lists, columns, categories, quarters, and ideas written in all colours on all types of medium, moulding it all into what she dreamed of. Another few months of website design and ideas, and changing ideas, listening to oodles of heartfelt suggestions and excellent recommendations, tweaking some ideas again, chats with lawyers and finding a wee bit of government funding to get it going. Yes, it was a tonne of work, but she pulled it off.

She is one of the most determined mamas I know, and I was honoured to be asked to take part in building her dream. I truly feel blessed to be a part of The Cove Global. We four Moms work tirelessly to grow this special space into the absolute best that it can be for all of you who have put your faith in us to be your favourite resource. We are committed to you, our members. Why? Because we are fellow Mamas. Because we can sympathize, empathize and feel your Mom-level giddy happiness, tearful angst and sleepless nights. We are a community of Moms who only want to be there for each other and share. To remind each other of your super powers, and make sure you know you are never alone. The Cove Global and all of our Mama members are here for each other.

Continuing our Home Quarter.

As the glorious warm weather is now upon us, the sun rises earlier, and the wonderful evenings get longer and longer, remember to take care of you every day somewhere between sunrise and sunset. I believe that self-care is also a part of the Home Quarter. I don’t know about you, but I feel that when things are set right at home in my personal space, then I am able to relax a bit more, smile a bit more (or perhaps just grumble less) about our family space. The goal is to be able to step through the door with a smile on your face and a comforting sigh on your breath. This is your space. Your home. Make it about you and what you love and connect with.

As we wrote in the last newsletter, making a “home” and space that you love has a lot of moving parts. One step at a time, and you will get there. The last newsletter shared all of our “home” related Trusted Partners’ contact information with you. Remember to reach out to them. They are all ready, willing and able to help you make your vision (big or small) come true. Whether creating a new playroom space, or overhauling your cooking space to build your dream kitchen, or putting up a fresh coat of paint, let’s use these next few months to do what YOU want. Make your home into what YOU want it to be. Your happy place! You’ve earned it and deserve it!

Here at The Cove Global our mission is to save Moms time, simply because time is so valuable. You can’t buy it, borrow it, rent it or steal it. So less wasted time means more time to spend making memories with the munchkins, more time on well earned and much needed self care, or more time building your business that you have put your heart and soul (and money) into. Keep track of your time, take back some time, and make great use of it for your benefit. Sounds like another great goal for 2022!
